Maybe because we literally arrived as it was opening, but we didn't have any trouble with the customer service, as claimed in other reviews. The food was excellent.. recommend the funghi pasta and the gnocchi with truffle. Try to sit outside as the view is adorable!
While the food was delicious and the menu changes seasonally, there was quite a line if you haven't reserved a table and only 3 people serving. Taking that into consideration, service was a bit slow. Maybe it differs during the work week, as we visited in high time: 2pm on an extended holiday weekend.
The food is good, the view in lovely...but the service it's very slow, not organized, we ordered the gave the food 40 min after the first corse. Was so funny the waiter came and took the ordered of on of us, we were 4 people, after 20 min came again and took rest of the ordered. And the answer were we are only 2 people in the restaurant. The weather with blue eyes were nice...thanks I would come back...
A beautiful restaurant near the river. Unfortunately, the views outshine the food. In a city with many great places to eat, this is mediocre at best. Uninspired would be the highest you could commend. It can dip into unappetizing pretty easily.
Average food in a pleasant location. Given dried bread to go with our meal but no butter. I asked for some but never got any. We had horse stew with gnocchi and tortellini. The tortellini was ok but the stew and gnocchi barely average.
Wonderful lunch. One of our best meals in Verona. The gnocchi and the spaghetti with parmesan and butter were delicious. Nice staff too, and a friendly service in a nice location. Would recommend.
The most rude waitress ever!! My boyfriend sat down as we wanted to look at the nice view with a drink , and the waitress saw us multiple times and didn’t come for take our order. Eventually she shouted ‘English menus ?’ And we said yes. She came with bread and we asked to order 2 aperol spritzes and she said very rudely ‘no! It’s a restaurant! ‘ and immediately took our menus away. It was empty as well and we were confused. We then got up to leave and then she abruptly said that the bread is 2 euros meanwhile taking the bread from us. Never experienced such a rude service!! Do not go.
This place deserves more than an overall rating of 4 stars! The restaurant offers very local dishes and wine, as well as all the tourist favourites if you want something familiar. The staff are friendly, informative about the food and eager …
